The natural shape lamp is the volume line of the entire salt lamp category. The crystal is left in its quarried form and only the base is worked flat, so no two pieces are identical — which is exactly what customers buy them for. Why weight banding matters more than it sounds

Natural lamps are sold by weight because the shape cannot be standardised, and the band you choose decides the retail price point. The 2–3 kg band is the global bestseller: heavy enough to feel substantial, light enough to parcel-ship economically. Above 7 kg the freight cost per unit climbs sharply and the item becomes a considered furniture purchase rather than a gift, which is worth knowing before committing a container to large pieces.

Colour sorting is the difference between a display and a pile

Khewra crystal runs from pale peach through deep orange-red, and an unsorted pallet will contain the whole spread. We inspect and band by colour before packing so a shelf of ten lamps reads as one family. Retailers who have previously bought unsorted stock usually mention this first when they reorder — it is the single most visible quality difference in the category.

Electrical fittings for your destination market

Cords, in-line switches and bulb holders are supplied to CE or UL specification with the plug type fitted for your market. Bulbs are installed and spares packed at whatever ratio you request, typically one spare per four units. Tell us the destination at quotation stage so the correct components are sourced before production rather than swapped afterwards.

Which weight band should a first-time buyer order?+

Start weighted toward 2–3 kg and 3–5 kg, with a small quantity of 5–7 kg as display pieces. That mix covers the gift price point that drives volume while giving the shelf some visual height. Very large lamps look impressive in a catalogue but turn slowly and tie up freight budget.

Are natural lamps supplied lit or unlit in the box?+

Assembled with cord, switch, holder and bulb fitted, packed unlit. Each carton includes spare bulbs at your requested ratio and a safety insert covering humidity guidance, which noticeably reduces returns.

Can we specify the base material?+

Neem is standard. Rosewood, sheesham and painted MDF bases are all available, as are custom-branded bases with your logo routed or printed on the underside for private-label programmes.

How do you prevent breakage in transit?+

Each lamp is bubble-wrapped and boxed, packed into double-wall export cartons with corner protection, then strapped to heat-treated ISPM-15 pallets. Pieces above 20 kg move in individual crates. Breakage on standard packing runs well under one percent.
