Food buyer questions
Is your pink salt genuinely food grade?+
Yes. Edible production runs through a dedicated food-grade line: washed, dried, ground, metal-detected and sieved to the ordered mesh, then packed in food-contact liners. We work to ISO 22000 and HACCP systems and supply a batch lab report covering moisture, insolubles, heavy metals and microbiology with each shipment.
Which grain size should I order?+
For a retail cooking salt, fine (0.3–0.8 mm) is the volume seller. If you are filling grinders, order coarse (2–5 mm) — anything finer clogs ceramic mechanisms. Food processors dosing by weight normally take extra fine for even distribution.
Can you pack under our own brand?+
Private label is a core service. Send artwork and we produce pouches, jars or grinders with your labels, barcodes, nutrition panel and country-of-origin marking. Typical minimum is one pallet per SKU, and we can hold artwork on file for repeat runs.
What documentation comes with an edible salt shipment?+
Certificate of Analysis, Certificate of Origin, HALAL certificate, phytosanitary or health certificate where required, packing list, commercial invoice and bill of lading. Tell us your import requirements early and we prepare the set before shipping.
How should bulk edible salt be stored?+
Keep sacks off the floor on pallets in a dry, covered warehouse below 60 % relative humidity. Salt is hygroscopic; sealed liners protect it in transit, but opened sacks in a damp store will cake within weeks.
